Goals
1. Encourage 16 or more chapters to submit a National Program Award application in one or more National Programs, with a total of 30 overall National Program Award applications submitted by March 1, 2023. We will accomplish this by promoting and educating the delegation about National Programs, and activities that can be completed for each, on our social media pages, in the SEC Monthly Newsletter, and sharing a tutorial on how to submit a National Program Award application.
2. Engage with student members through chapter visits, either virtually or in-person with chapters in the districts we represent, monthly newsletters to chapters and student members, and host engagement zooms throughout the year.
3. Increase competitive event participation at the State Leadership Conference by promoting and educating the delegation on the many different Competitive Event opportunities available at the State Leadership Conference on social media, monthly newsletters, and highlighting events during chapter visits.
4. Implement a statewide service project, using the Lead4Change planning resources, that will assist chapters to plan and implement a bullying prevention advocacy project within their school and/or communities.
