OVERVIEW
|
FCCLA affiliation is the process of sending state and national dues and completing online chapter affiliation. By affiliating each year, middle and high school members join more than 237,000 of their peers nationwide to strengthen skills, forge friendships, and make a positive difference in today's world.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO BE A MEMBER OF FCCLA? Any student who has taken a course in Family and Consumer Sciences, or as determined by the state department of education, in middle school through grade 12 is eligible for active membership in an organized FCCLA chapter within their school. WHAT IS AN AFFILIATED MEMBER? Affiliated is the term used to identify an official member of FCCLA. To be considered an affiliated member, the member must be submitted in the FCCLA Portal for affiliation by their chapter adviser and the affiliation invoice must be paid in full. Affiliated members are denoted with the word "Affiliated" next to their name on the chapter roster in the FCCLA Portal.

AFFILIATION OPTIONS FOR 2024-2025
Various affiliation options are provided for chapters to assist in meeting the needs of their students. Affiliation options chosen can be updated each year prior to completing the online chapter affiliation.
If you need assistance in finding or changing your chapter affiliation type, please email [email protected]. Changes to the affiliation type must be made BEFORE the online chapter affiliation should be submitted.
REGULAR AFFILIATION
Regular affiliation requires both the national and state regular affiliation rate to be paid for submitted member and/or adviser.
National Rate - $9.00 per individual
State Rate - $5.00 per individual
When the online chapter affiliation process is completed, an affiliation invoice will automatically be created to reflect each of the rates above for the total amount of students and advisers submitted.
NOTE: National FCCLA requires a 12-member minimum for chapter affiliation. You CAN submit affiliation for less than 12 members, however, your chapter will be invoiced the national rate ($9.00) for 12 total members. The state rate will only be applied to the number of members submitted.
100% MIDDLE-LEVEL AFFILIATION
During the 2024-2025 year, NC FCCLA and National FCCLA are providing this program to offer an unlimited affiliate package for middle school chapters. This package will allow middle school chapters to affiliate all middle school students enrolled, or have been enrolled, in an FCS course for a flat rate fee.
National Flat Rate - $250.00
State Flat Rate - $125.00
Total Rate - $375.00
UP TO 25 CHAPTER AFFILIATION
During the 2024-2025 year, NC FCCLA will be providing this affiliation option as a program for chapters to affiliate up to 25 eligible students at a flat rate fee. This package includes:
National Flat Rate - $395.00
State Flat Rate - $125.00
Total Flat Rate - $520.00
Student members in excess of 25 will be charged the national and state regular affiliation rates.
UNLIMITED MEMBERSHIP AFFILIATION
NC FCCLA will be providing this affiliation option for chapters to affiliate an unlimited number of eligible students at a flat rate fee. This package includes:
National Flat Rate - $775.00
State Flat Rate - $450.00
Total Flat Rate - $1,225
