Registration Rates and Details
Registration Rate - $75.00 per participant, adviser, chaperone, and guest attendee.
Competitive Events Fee - $5.00 per competitor (STAR Event and State-Level Events)

- Lunch vouchers can be added to attendee registration to receive a boxed lunch on Tuesday, March 14. Dietary restrictions should be provided during registration to assist in finalizing the boxed lunch menu.
- Chocolate chip cookies can be pre-purchased during registration. Pre-purchase will be by the dozen, and chapters may order as many dozens as they would like. Cookies will be distributed warmly on Monday, March 13th to chapters who purchased them following the Opening Session.
- Chapter advisers are required to register and attend the excursion with their chapter. Transportation to and from the excursion venue is not provided and is the responsibility of the chapter.
- Options Include:
- Round 1 Excursion - Participants will receive 1 round of bowling, a game card/time play in the arcade, 2 slices of pizza, soda, a gift and a group photo.
- Celebration Station Excursion - Participants will have 2 hours to spend on go karts, blaster bumper boats, and laser tag, 1 round of miniature golf, 1 jumbo slice of pizza and 1 medium soft drink. Arcade cards can be purchased at the venue for additional cost.
- Velocity 360 Fun Zone - Participants will have 2 hours to spend on 24,000 sq. ft. of trampoline activities (dodgeball, basketball, crash pad, jousting, tightrope walk, and parkour blocks), a full ninja obstacle course and 3-story tall indoor playground/climbing center, 2 slices of pizza and soda. Conference T-Shirt - $15.00 per t-shirt
Affiliation* is required to attend and/or compete at the State Leadership Conference.
*Full affiliation status is granted when the affiliation invoice is paid in full.
- Conference t-shirts can be pre-ordered for a discounted rate during registration. Purchased t-shirts will be provided to chapters when they check-in at the conference. T-shirts will be available on-site at a higher price, and in limited quantities and sizes.
- Sizes are unisex adult sizes. Shirt is 50/50 poly/cotton blend in Heather Red.

Hotel Reservation Information
The official hotel for the 2023 State Leadership Conference is the Sheraton Greensboro at Four Seasons. All sessions will be held in the hotel's Koury Convention Center. All attendees are required to stay in the official hotel during the conference.

Hotel reservations must be submitted using the Official Hotel Reservation Form by February 9, 2022. Telephone reservations will not be accepted.
Reservations made by third-party booking sites (Expedia, Orbitz, Kayak, etc.) or directly with the hotel will not be included in the NC FCCLA hotel block and will not qualify as staying within the NC FCCLA housing block. NC FCCLA cannot accept responsibility for reservations booked improperly.

Housing Policies
Room rates and cost of meeting space are based on anticipated room pick-up. NC FCCLA attendees are required to stay within the official meeting/conference hotel block when attending the meeting/conference.
Attendees not staying within the official meeting/conference hotel block will be assessed a $50.00 fee per registration. This policy will not be implemented if the hotel block is completely sold out. Availability of a preferred room type will not provide an exemption from this policy.
Only registered conference attendees are eligible to take advantage of the NC FCCLA negotiated conference room rates within the NC FCCLA housing block dates. To accommodate NC FCCLA members and for the safety of all attendees, every guest staying within the NC FCCLA conference block must be registered for the conference.
Housing Payments
A credit card is required when making your room reservation to guarantee the room(s). The card on file will not be charged until you arrive onsite. If paying your final bill with another credit card or check, see the specific instructions below.
If paying the final bill by check, the hotel must receive a check for the full payment at least 14 business days prior to your arrival. If the hotel receives the check less than 14 days of your arrival, then a credit card will need to be provided at check-in. Once the check clears, you can initiate a request for reimbursement with the hotel to the credit card charged. All checks must be made payable to the hotel.
If paying the final bill with a credit card, not in your possession, a credit card authorization form must be completed and sent to the hotel prior to your arrival. This form can be provided by contacting the hotel using the contact information listed on the official SLC housing form.
Payments for hotel reservations should not be mailed to NC FCCLA. In the event payment for housing is inadvertently sent to NC FCCLA, it will be returned to you. These payments will not be forwarded to the hotel.

Registration Invoice Payment Information
An invoice will automatically be created when registration is submitted in the FCCLA Portal. Invoice(s) can be viewed and/or paid in the 'Invoice(s)' tab of the FCCLA Portal. If you do not see an invoice created for your attendee(s), please confirm that you have correctly submitted registration for this event.
Invoice payments must be made by March 1, 2023. A $25.00 late payment fee will be applied to invoices with an outstanding balance after this date.

- Check Payment
- Check payments can be mailed to the address listed on the registration invoice. Confirm with your bookkeeper that the check is being sent to the correct address. NC FCCLA will not be responsible for any checks sent to the wrong address resulting in a delay of payment.
- Credit Card
- A credit card payment can be paid on the registration in the FCCLA Portal or by calling the National Headquarters at 703-476-4900. An invoice number must be provided if paying with a credit card over the phone.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation and refund request must be submitted online through the FCCLA Portal by February 9, 2023 to avoid a $25.00 administrative fee per attendee cancellation. Telephone, email and fax cancellations will not be accepted.

COVID-19 Cancellation/Refund Policy
Cancellation and refund request must be submitted online through the FCCLA Portal by February 9, 2023 to avoid a $25.00 administrative fee per attendee cancellation. Telephone, email and fax cancellations will not be accepted.
- Cancellations received by February 9, 2023 will be refunded the conference registration.
- Cancellations received after February 9, 2023 and until March 1, 2023 will be refunded the conference registration only, less a $25.00 administrative fee per attendee cancellation.
- Requests for refunds will not be honored for cancellations received after March 1, 2023.
- Refunds for "no-shows" will not be honored, and the registrant and/or chapter will still be responsible for all registration fees.

COVID-19 Cancellation/Refund Policy
- If the competition is cancelled, or has to be moved, due to COVID-19 issues, a full refund will be provided to registered attendees.
- Any chapter that is no longer allowed to travel due to school, county, or state travel restrictions related to COVID-19, NC FCCLA will accept cancellations submitted by March 1, 2023. Requests must be made in the FCCLA Portal. A refund, less a $25.00 administrative fee, will be provided for cancellation requests made by March 1, 2023. To qualify for this cancellation, a supporting letter on school letterhead stating when the ban was implemented and signed by the principal or school superintendent. The supporting letter must be uploaded with your cancellation submission.
- It is in everyone's best interest to ensure that anyone who feels unwell does not travel to the conference. If you have been directly exposed to someone with a positive COVID-19 test or tested positive yourself within five (5) days of the competition, please stay home. A credit, less a $25.00 administrative fee per attendee cancellation, will be issued to your chapter's account for future invoices. Substitutions to the individual's registration for another student, adviser, or guest may also be made without financial penalty.
- To receive this credit, the cancellation must be submitted in the FCCLA Portal by March 13, 2023. Your request should indicate a reason of 'COVID-19 Symptoms/Exposure.' Supporting documentation must be uploaded with the cancellation submission.
