OVERVIEW
Nine (9) youth leaders are elected annually at NC FCCLA's State Leadership Conference to make up the State Executive Council and serve a one-year term as the representative body of NC FCCLA. The State Executive Council's primary function is program development, program implementation, and public relations.
The State Executive Council has the following responsibilities:

The State Executive Council has the following responsibilities:
- Review the aims and objectives of the state strategic plan and program of work.
- Recommend the establishment of programs, projects, and activities.
- Plan the program for state meetings throughout the year.
- Conduct official business of the organization at state meetings throughout the year.
- Interpret and advocate the goals and program activities of NC FCCLA to groups and individuals within and outside the organization.
