- Submit the Intent to Run Form by January 18, 2024 at 5:00 PM.
- Download and complete all required forms in the 23-24 SOC Application Packet.
- Obtain additional required application materials.
- Complete the SOC Application Submission Form by February 22, 2024 at 5:00 PM with a URL to all required application materials.
Per Article V Section 1 of the NC FCCLA Bylaws, NC FCCLA chapters may present one (1) nominee for office on the State Executive Council. Chapters and members must be appropriately affiliated with the state and national organizations.

2024 SPEECH TOPIC
Discuss the importance of youth involvement in FCCLA and how it can drive positive change within schools and communities. Share personal stories or examples of successful youth-led initiatives and explain how you would encourage and support such projects as a state officer.
Candidates will be given 3 minutes to present their speech to delegates during the Business & Recognition Session of the State Leadership Conference. Candidates are not required to memorize their speeches but should be familiar enough that they are able to successfully demonstrate their public speaking skills.
